Prime Minister Modi to Launch Second Phase of Metro Rail Extension in Gujarat
On September 16, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off the second phase of the Metro Rail Extension in Gujarat. Ahead of his visit, Additional Commissioner of Police, Sector-1, Neeraj Kumar, announced that over 2500 police officials will be deployed to ensure smooth proceedings and manage traffic diversions.

The new phase, developed by the Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation in collaboration with the Government of Gujarat and the Government of India, will connect key locations between Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar. This includes areas like GNLU, PDEU, Gift City, Raysan, Randesan, Dholakuva, Infocity, and Sector-1.
