Maritime Security Talks with Singapore
During his visit to Singapore, PM Modi will discuss maritime security with Singaporean leaders. Both countries share similar views on keeping sea routes safe and secure. Mazumdar emphasized the importance of these discussions for the region.

Historic Visit to Brunei
PM Modi’s visit to Brunei is significant as it marks the first-ever bilateral visit by an Indian Prime Minister to the country. This visit coincides with the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between India and Brunei. The Prime Minister will engage in discussions covering various sectors, including defence, trade, energy, and technology.
Defence Cooperation

Space Program Support
Brunei has been a valuable partner in India’s space program, providing support through three MoUs. India has established a telemetry tracking and command station in Brunei, which monitors satellite launches.
Act East Policy
Brunei is an important partner in India’s Act East Policy and its vision for the Indo-Pacific region. The visit is significant as it marks a decade of the Act East Policy, with Brunei playing a key role in India’s engagements with ASEAN.
