On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will speak at the National Democratic Alliance’s (NDA) parliamentary party meeting. This will be his first address to the MPs of the ruling bloc during the first session of Parliament since he began his third term.

PM Modi will also reply to the Motion of Thanks on the President’s address in the lower house of Parliament. Union Health Minister JP Nadda will discuss the implementation of recommendations from the Standing Committee on Health and Family Welfare.

On Monday, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi’s first speech as Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha caused a stir. BJP leaders accused him of making false statements and calling the Hindu community violent. PM Modi criticized Gandhi’s remarks, and Home Minister Amit Shah demanded an apology. Both BJP and Congress held press conferences to defend their positions.

Rahul Gandhi criticized the BJP over various issues, including the NEET-UG controversy and the Agniveer scheme. He also described the Hindu symbol ‘Abhayamudra’ as representing the Congress party’s values of fearlessness and safety.
