Both leaders will attend a summit-level meeting of the Quadrilateral Security Dialogue (Quad) with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida. The Quad Summit will review progress and set the agenda for the coming year to help the Indo-Pacific region achieve its development goals.

The first Quad Leaders’ Summit was held virtually in 2021, followed by in-person meetings in Washington, DC, and Japan. The most recent summit was held in Hiroshima, Japan, in May 2023.
