National Learning Week Begins in New Delhi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the ‘Karmayogi Saptah’ – National Learning Week at Dr Ambedkar International Centre in New Delhi. He emphasized the goal of Mission Karmayogi to create human resources that will drive India’s development.

PM Modi expressed satisfaction with the progress made and highlighted the importance of new learnings and experiences during the week to strengthen working systems and achieve the goal of Viksit Bharat by 2047. He shared his thoughts on X, stating that the initiative will help improve work systems.

Transformative Change Through AI and Aspirational India

The Prime Minister discussed the dual role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) as both a challenge and an opportunity for India. He stressed the need to balance AI with Aspirational India to drive transformative change.

He also noted the impact of the digital revolution and social media in making information processing easier, empowering citizens to monitor government activities. PM Modi urged civil servants to stay updated with technological advancements through Mission Karmayogi.

Encouraging Innovation and Collaboration

PM Modi called for innovative thinking and a citizen-centric approach, encouraging collaboration with startups, research agencies, and young people for new ideas. He praised the iGOT platform, where over 40 lakh government employees have registered, and more than 1.5 crore certificates have been issued.

He highlighted the need for Civil Services training institutions to collaborate and adopt global best practices, promoting a whole-of-government approach. Mission Karmayogi, launched in September 2020, aims to create a future-ready civil service with a global perspective.
