In a rally held in Gumla, Jharkhand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi criticized the Congress party and its allies, accusing them of keeping the state backward and not supporting tribal leaders. He praised the talent and leadership of the tribal community, highlighting the presence of many Adivasi ministers in the BJP government.

PM Modi accused Congress of trying to prevent Droupadi Murmu, a tribal leader, from becoming the President of India and disrespecting her. He also mentioned the disrespect shown to former Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren.

Modi emphasized the development initiatives launched by the BJP, including the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana and Ayushman Bharat Yojana, which provide financial support and health insurance to low-income earners. He assured the public of free treatment for senior citizens above 70 years of age.

The Prime Minister also introduced the Pradhan Mantri Janjati Adivasi Nyaya Maha Abhiyan (PM-JANMAN) scheme, aimed at benefiting neglected tribal communities. He reiterated the BJP’s commitment to ‘Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas’ and accused Congress of trying to divide the unity of tribals, OBCs, and Dalits.

The Jharkhand Assembly elections are scheduled for November 13 and 20, with results to be announced on November 23.
