Prime Minister Modi Celebrates Historic Third Term Win Amid Opposition Protests

Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted the historic achievement of his party being re-elected for a third consecutive term, a rare event in India’s parliamentary history. He attributed the victory to the people’s trust, despite opposition protests.

During his speech, PM Modi thanked MPs for their participation in the discussion on the President’s Address. Opposition leader Mallikarjun Kharge’s attempt to speak was blocked, causing further protests.

Meanwhile, Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar offered condolences for the victims of the Hathras stampede. Kharge called for legislation to prevent such incidents in the future.

Prime Minister addressed the Lok Sabha on Tuesday, and the first session of the 18th Lok Sabha was adjourned sine die with a productivity of 103 per cent, as noted by Speaker Om Birla.
