Misri quoted Mahatma Gandhi, saying, “There is no path to peace; peace is the path.”

Both leaders appreciated the positive momentum in their bilateral relationship and agreed to continue working together. PM Modi reiterated India’s support for an early resolution of the conflict and the restoration of peace and stability.

President Zelenskyy also expressed gratitude for India’s support and mentioned that both countries are actively developing their relations and cooperation across various fields.

The main focus of their conversation was on enhancing interaction on international platforms like the UN and G20, implementing the Peace Formula, and preparing for the second Peace Summit. Zelenskyy thanked PM Modi for supporting Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

India has emphasized the need for practical engagement between all stakeholders to find innovative solutions for early peace in Ukraine. India is willing to contribute in all possible ways to facilitate the return of peace.
