Educational and Technological Cooperation
India and Germany decided to collaborate on skilling and vocational education, with an agreement signed between IIT Chennai and Dresden University for a dual degree program. The partnership aims to strengthen cooperation in areas like artificial intelligence, semiconductors, and clean energy.
Chancellor Scholz’s Visit
Chancellor Scholz is in India for the 7th Intergovernmental Consultations, marking his third visit since becoming Chancellor in 2021. He previously visited India for a bilateral state visit in February and the G20 Leaders’ Summit in September.
