During his one-day visit, PM Modi will lay the foundation for 23 development projects in Varanasi, valued at approximately Rs 6,100 crore. These projects include the redevelopment of the Varanasi Sports Complex under the ‘Khelo India’ scheme and the Smart City Mission, worth over Rs 210 crore. The complex will feature a National Centre of Excellence, players’ hostels, and various sports facilities.

PM Modi will also lay the foundation for new civil enclaves at Agra, Darbhanga, and Bagdogra Airports, with investments totaling over Rs 3,030 crore. Additionally, new terminal buildings at Rewa, Maa Mahamaya in Ambikapur, and Sarsawa Airports will be inaugurated, enhancing passenger capacity to over 23 million annually.
