Tennis Premier League’s Race to Gold Masters Begins
The Tennis Premier League (TPL) has launched the Race to Gold Masters tournament to discover and support India’s future tennis stars. The event is being held in three cities: Gujarat, Delhi, and Mumbai. The tournament in Gujarat and Delhi started on November 16 and will last for two days, with Delhi hosting at the DLTA Tennis Centre.

Day One Highlights
On November 16, the Under 14 Boys, Under 14 Girls, Under 12 Boys, and Under 12 Girls categories were contested. Pranay Sharma won the Under 14 Boys category, narrowly defeating Bhavik Mittal 13-12. In the Under 14 Girls category, Suhana Olwan triumphed over Sayna Hooda with a score of 13-12. Aariv Gupta claimed victory in the Under 12 Boys category, beating Rabeeb AliKhan 13-12. Ira Chaudhari dominated the Under 12 Girls category, winning against Kiah Saini 14-11.
Upcoming Matches and Awards
On November 17, the Open Men’s and Open Women’s categories will take place, followed by the Under 10 Boys and Under 10 Girls. Winners in each category will receive scholarships worth Rs 75,000 to support their professional tennis careers. These young athletes will be honored live on Jio Cinema during the league.
