Residents of Rawalpindi, Pakistan, are facing two to three-hour power outages amid hot and humid weather, leading to water shortages. Dr. Amjad Khan, CEO of Islamabad Electric Supply Company (Iesco), stated that the main supply line was switched off to repair overloaded transformers.
