Police Search for ‘Bhole Baba’ After Stampede at Hathras Event

Police have been deployed at the Ram Kutir Charitable Trust in Mainpuri to prevent stone pelting after a tragic stampede at a Satsang event in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh. The stampede, which occurred as devotees rushed to seek blessings from ‘Bhole Baba’, resulted in 121 deaths and 35 injuries. ‘Bhole Baba’, also known as Suraj Pal, is currently untraceable. An FIR has been lodged against the event organizers, and a search operation is ongoing.
