Police in Agra Arrest Two Men for Acid Attack Threats on Social Media
In Agra, Uttar Pradesh, two men have been arrested for allegedly threatening a woman with an acid attack on social media, according to the police.

On July 21, the police received information about the threats. The Assistant Police Commissioner, Sadar, and the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Nagar Agra, took immediate action. A Special Operations Group (SOG) and Civil Police Team were formed at the Sadar Police Station to solve the case.

Within 12 hours, the police arrested the two accused men. Himanshu Chahar, a resident of Taraganj in Agra, had hired Abhishek Bhandari through social media to carry out the attack because the woman had rejected his love proposal.
Preventing a Tragedy
