Police Constable Arrested for Allegedly Raping Law Student in Raipur

A police constable in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, has been arrested for allegedly raping a law student. The incident was reported by Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Kirtan Rathore.

ASP Kirtan Rathore stated, “A law graduate was raped. We registered a case, and a probe was conducted. A police constable has been arrested in the matter and been sent to remand.”

During the investigation, it was found that the victim had known the accused for the past two to three months. The incident occurred within the limits of Mana police station. Following the complaint, the constable was arrested and sent to judicial custody. Further investigation is ongoing.
