Police Capture Wanted Criminal Aaftab in Mau, Uttar Pradesh
In the early morning of Thursday, an encounter broke out between police officials and a miscreant in Raini village, Pardaha block, Mau district, Uttar Pradesh. The miscreant, identified as Aaftab, was injured and arrested. Aaftab, who had a bounty of Rs 50,000, is a resident of Azamgarh district.
The police recovered a pistol, two live ammunitions, two cartridges, and a bike from Aaftab. Additional Superintendent of Police Mahesh Singh Attri stated, “As part of the Mau police’s campaign to eradicate crime, an encounter broke out during checking in Raini village. The miscreant was injured in the retaliatory action by the police and was arrested from the spot.”
Aaftab is currently receiving medical treatment. The law and order situation is under control, and peace is maintained in the area.
