Police Arrest Suspect in Jehlum Terror Attack on ANF Officers

Police officials in Jehlum, Pakistan, have arrested one person allegedly involved in a recent terror attack that resulted in the deaths of three Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) officers. The attack took place on June 12 at the Turkey toll plaza in Jehlum.

The suspects, Bilal, Syed Abid, and Ghufran, were apprehended while attempting to escape from Gwadar to Iran. Two other suspects are still at large, and police are actively searching for them.

On June 12, the suspects were traveling from Rawalpindi to Lahore on GT Road when they were intercepted by ANF officers at the toll plaza. The suspects opened fire, killing three ANF personnel: Head Constable Gulzar, Zeeshan, and Mazhar.

The vehicle used by the suspects has been taken to the Dina Police Station for further investigation. A search operation is ongoing to capture the remaining suspects.
