Police Arrest Fifth Suspect in Nadir Shah’s Murder Case in South Delhi

Police have arrested a fifth suspect, Sajid, in connection with the murder of Nadir Shah, a 35-year-old gym owner who was shot dead in South Delhi. Four other suspects, Nitlesh Tiwari, Vishal Verma, Akash Yadav, and Naveen Balayan, were arrested earlier. The main shooter is still at large.

The incident occurred in Greater Kailash-1, and a CCTV camera captured the shooting. The suspects have been remanded in police custody for 10 days as the investigation continues.

Details of the Incident

According to the Delhi police, the shooting happened around 10:45 PM in the E-block of Greater Kailash-1. Nadir Shah was immediately rushed to the hospital by his friends but was declared dead. Around 7-8 rounds were fired during the incident.

Police Statement

DCP (South) Ankit Chauhan stated, “At around 10:45 PM, we received a PCR call reporting a shooting incident. We were informed about the firing in the E-block of GK (Greater Kailash). The victim was identified as Nadir Shah, a gym co-owner. Around 7-8 rounds were fired.”
