Police Arrest Akash Jadoun for Woman’s Murder in Gwalior
Police in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, have arrested a man named Akash Jadoun for his alleged involvement in the murder of a woman. The incident took place on July 29 under the Madhav Ganj police station limits.
Details of the Arrest
Akash Jadoun, 24, a resident of Sabalgarh in Morena district, was the prime suspect in the case. He was apprehended after a police encounter in the Kampu police station area early on Friday morning. During the encounter, Jadoun tried to escape and fired at the police, leading to his injury. He is currently undergoing treatment.
Police Operation
The police conducted a combing operation on Thursday-Friday night to arrest the absconding accused. They received information about Jadoun’s whereabouts as he was trying to escape from Sheetla Mata Mandir Road via Shivpuri Link Road. When the police tried to stop him, he attempted to flee along the railway track and fired at the police.
Previous Arrests
Another accused in the case, named Soham, had already been arrested. The police are continuing their investigation into the matter.
