India pledged USD 7.5 million for cancer testing and diagnostics in the Indo-Pacific region.

PM Modi also had bilateral meetings with Japanese PM Fumio Kishida and Australian PM Anthony Albanese. The day concluded with a dinner hosted by President Biden.

An important highlight was the return of 297 stolen antiquities to India by the United States. PM Modi expressed gratitude to President Biden for his commitment to fighting illicit trafficking of cultural properties.

Upon arriving in New York, PM Modi received a warm welcome from the Indian diaspora and shared his excitement for upcoming community programs.
