Prime Minister Narendra Modi introduced a seven-pillar framework to boost cooperation between India and the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) at the 2nd India-CARICOM Summit held in Georgetown, Guyana. The framework is based on the acronym "C.A.R.I.C.O.M."
PM Modi co-chaired the summit with Grenada's Prime Minister Dickon Mitchell, the current chair of CARICOM. The summit was hosted by Guyana's President Dr. Irfaan Ali and attended by Heads of Government and Foreign Ministers from CARICOM member states.
