PM Modi to Share Youth’s Vision at Quad Summit with Biden, Albanese, and Kishida
India’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Parvathaneni Harish, emphasized the focus of the upcoming Quad Summit on the future and youth. He stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will present the aspirations and contributions of Indian youth on the global stage.
The Quad Leaders’ Summit will be held on Saturday in Wilmington, Delaware, the hometown of US President Joe Biden. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will join US President Joe Biden, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida to discuss regional security and cooperation in the Indo-Pacific.
Ambassador Harish highlighted that the summit will focus on sustainable development and financing for development. He also mentioned the importance of increasing youth involvement in governance and nation-building, as well as harnessing new technologies like AI and biotechnology.
PM Modi’s three-day visit to the US begins on Saturday, September 21, and includes high-level meetings with global leaders, the annual Quad summit, and participation in key discussions at the United Nations. The last Quad Leaders’ Summit was held in Hiroshima, Japan, on May 20 last year.
