PM Modi’s Visit to Varanasi: A Day of Inaugurations and Developments
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, on Sunday to inaugurate the newly redeveloped Varanasi Sports Complex. The complex, enhanced under the ‘Khelo India’ scheme and Smart City Mission, is part of a project worth over Rs 210 crore. It will feature a National Centre of Excellence, players’ hostels, and various sports facilities.
During his visit, PM Modi will also unveil airport projects valued at over Rs 6,100 crore. This includes the expansion of the Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport and the foundation stones for new terminals at Agra, Darbhanga, and Bagdogra Airports. Additionally, he will inaugurate new terminal buildings at Rewa, Maa Mahamaya, Ambikapur, and Sarsawa Airports, increasing their passenger capacity significantly.
At 2 pm, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the RJ Sankara Eye Hospital, offering comprehensive eye care services. Later, at 4.15 pm, he will address the public and lay the foundation for multiple development projects in Varanasi.
