Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a rally in Sonipat, Haryana, on Wednesday for the upcoming state assembly elections. In a post on X, PM Modi expressed confidence that the people of Haryana will ensure a landslide victory for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

PM Modi stated, ‘Haryana has made up its mind to ensure a landslide victory for the BJP in the assembly elections. In this atmosphere of enthusiasm and excitement in the celebration of democracy, we will have the good fortune of receiving the blessings of the people at the rally in Sonipat tomorrow at 12 noon.’

Voting for the 90-member legislative assembly in Haryana will be held on October 5, with votes counted on October 8, along with those in Jammu and Kashmir.

Earlier today, PM Modi returned to Delhi after concluding his three-day ‘very intense and successful’ visit to the US. During his visit, he attended the Quad Leaders Summit in US President Joe Biden’s hometown, Delaware, delivered remarks at the United Nations ‘Summit of The Future,’ and held bilateral meetings with several leaders.

PM Modi shared highlights of his US visit, describing it as ‘fruitful,’ covering diverse programs and focusing on subjects aimed at making the planet better. He shared a video of his engagements, including the Quad Summit, bilateral meetings, and his address to the Indian diaspora and American business leaders.

Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri described the visit as ‘very intense and successful.’
