PM Modi Takes Action on NEET Exam Issues, Rahul Gandhi Criticizes Silence

Union Minister HD Kumaraswamy announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has directed immediate action to protect students’ interests amid NEET exam irregularities. Kumaraswamy stated, “PM Modi acted immediately after it came to his notice.”

Meanwhile, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi criticized PM Modi for being silent on the issue, accusing him of focusing on the Speaker election instead. Gandhi said, “The silence of the government is because the Prime Minister is crippled.”

Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan assured that the government is working to strengthen the National Testing Agency (NTA) and hold those responsible accountable. Pradhan mentioned, “The government has decided to form a committee and experts will be part of that committee.”

The NEET-UG 2024 exam, conducted by the NTA, faced protests due to alleged irregularities and paper leaks. The results showed 67 students with perfect scores, leading to further scrutiny.
