PM Modi Sends New Year Wishes to Israel and Jewish Community
Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended New Year wishes to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the Jewish community on Rosh Hashanah. He wished for peace, hope, and good health for everyone.
Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs thanked PM Modi and the Indian people for their friendship. The Indian Embassy in Israel also celebrated the Jewish New Year with Israeli friends.
Rosh Hashanah, meaning ‘head of the year,’ is a two-day celebration marking the start of the Jewish High Holy Days each autumn.
On September 30, PM Modi discussed recent developments in West Asia with Netanyahu, stressing the importance of peace and stability. He condemned terrorism and called for the safe release of hostages.
