On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was honored with Russia’s highest civilian award, the Order of St Andrew the Apostle, in Moscow. The award ceremony took place at St Catherine’s Hall of Moscow Kremlin.

Congratulations from Rajasthan Chief Minister

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma congratulated PM Modi, stating, “The country’s favourite Prime Minister Narendra Modi has received the Order of St Andrew the Apostle. This is a special occasion for all of us as well. Under the rule of PM Modi, the country has reached new heights.”

He further praised Modi’s contributions at both national and international levels, especially in the fields of environment, energy, and world peace.

Union Minister Amit Shah’s Remarks

Union Minister Amit Shah also congratulated PM Modi, saying, “Congratulations to PM Narendra Modi on being conferred with Russia’s highest civilian award, the Order of St. Andrew the Apostle, today. This is a glorious honour to the nation, which stands as a testament to the formidable stature attained by Bharat in the global arena under the leadership of PM Modi.”

He added that the award boosts every Indian’s pride and strengthens the Indian-Russian friendship.
