Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Ekta Nagar in Gujarat, where he inaugurated and laid the foundation for various development projects worth over Rs 280 crore. These initiatives aim to boost tourism, improve accessibility, and support sustainability in the region. During his two-day visit, PM Modi will also address Officer Trainees at the 99th Common Foundation Course, Aarambh 6.0, focusing on the theme “Roadmap for Aatmanirbhar and Viksit Bharat.” This course includes 653 trainees from 16 Indian civil services and 3 from Bhutan.

On Thursday, PM Modi will participate in the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas celebrations, honoring Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. He will administer the Ekta Diwas pledge and observe the Ekta Diwas Parade, featuring 16 marching contingents from nine states and one Union Territory, along with four Central Armed Police Forces, NCC, and a marching band. Highlights include the NSG’s Hell March, a daredevil show by BSF and CRPF bikers, a martial arts display by BSF, a piped band show by school children, and a ‘Surya Kiran’ flypast by the Indian Air Force.
