In a rally held in Godda, Jharkhand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi criticized the JMM-led coalition, particularly targeting Chief Minister Hemant Soren. PM Modi highlighted the issue of migration in the Santhal Pargana region, where Soren contests elections, stating that people are forced to move to other states for work due to lack of development. He accused parties like Congress, RJD, and JMM of contributing to migration, poverty, and unemployment in the area.

PM Modi also addressed a money laundering case involving Congress MP Dhiraj Prasad Sahu, mentioning the recovery of Rs 350 crore during raids on a distillery linked to Sahu’s family. He accused JMM and Congress of arrogance and urged the people of Jharkhand to challenge this attitude.

Highlighting the initiatives of the BJP-led government, PM Modi promised to make electricity bills zero by providing Rs 75,000 to Rs 80,000 to households for installing solar panels. He explained that excess electricity generated would be bought by the government, turning the tables on traditional electricity billing.

The first phase of polling in Jharkhand took place on November 13, with the second phase scheduled for November 20 and vote counting on November 23.
