In Kurukshetra, PM Modi referred to an incident in Karnataka where a Ganesha idol was briefly placed in a police van. He accused Congress of putting hurdles in the celebration of Ganeshotsav. He also claimed that Congress wants to end reservations for Dalits and other weaker sections, citing historical opposition from leaders like Nehru and Indira Gandhi.

Criticism of Congress Governance

PM Modi criticized Congress-ruled states like Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, and Telangana, alleging that people are suffering due to inflation, corruption, and unfulfilled promises. He claimed that Congress governments have led to chaos, reduced investment, and job losses.

Attack on Other Parties

PM Modi also took a veiled jab at the Aam Aadmi Party and criticized Congress for not implementing its farmer schemes in states it governs. He urged the people of Haryana to avoid such parties.

Jammu and Kashmir Elections

In Doda, PM Modi attacked Congress, National Conference (NC), and People’s Democratic Party (PDP), accusing them of wanting to restore Article 370 and causing unrest. He claimed that these parties have ‘hollowed out’ Jammu and Kashmir through corruption and terrorism. He urged the youth of Jammu and Kashmir to vote for BJP for a brighter future.

The elections in Jammu and Kashmir are scheduled for September 18, September 25, and October 1, with counting on October 8. Haryana will go to the polls on October 5, with votes counted on October 8.
