PM Modi Criticizes Congress and Highlights Achievements in Haryana Rally

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, speaking at a rally in Sonipat, Haryana, drew attention to Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s alleged involvement in the MUDA (Mysuru Urban Development Authority) scam. Modi accused the Congress party of being deeply entrenched in corruption.

Addressing the crowd, Modi said, “It has only been two years, and just look at the Congress government in Karnataka. The Chief Minister is facing accusations of a land scam. When he appeared in the High Court, he was dismissed. The court stated that a proper investigation is necessary in this matter.”

Modi also criticized the Congress for its past governance in Haryana, claiming that farmers’ lands were looted and jobs were unattainable without cheating. He accused the Congress of sidelining marginalized communities, stating, “Congress has always kept SC/ST/OBC away from participation. Whenever Congress has been in the government, it has snatched the rights of Dalits and backward classes.”

Highlighting the BJP’s achievements, Modi said, “The BJP government in Haryana has decided to give MSP for 24 crops, but when the Congress was here, it hated to buy crops on MSP. The BJP government is continuously taking decisions in the benefit of the farmers.”

Modi also spoke about economic and infrastructure development in Haryana, noting better connectivity and the construction of highways. He praised Haryana’s contributions to national sports, calling it the “medal factory of India.”

Haryana will go to the polls on October 5, with results announced on October 8.
