PM Modi Announces ‘Mera Booth Sabse Mazboot’ for Haryana Elections
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has introduced the ‘Mera Booth Sabse Mazboot’ program in preparation for the Haryana assembly elections on October 5. He will engage with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers, volunteers, and supporters on September 26 at around 12:30 PM through the NAMO app.
In a post on X, PM Modi invited questions and suggestions from supporters for the interactive session. He emphasized the commitment of BJP workers to ensure success in the elections.
Haryana Chief Electoral Officer Pankaj Agarwal announced special measures to boost voter turnout for the 15th Haryana Legislative Assembly General Election. Activities like slogan writing, painting, street plays, and poster making are being used to encourage voting.
Agarwal noted that Haryana has a history of high voter turnout, with 68.31% participation in the last assembly elections. He urged citizens to participate in the ‘Festival of Democracy – Pride of the State’ by casting their votes.
Voting for the 90-member legislative assembly in Haryana will take place on October 5, with results to be announced on October 8, alongside those for Jammu and Kashmir.
