The BJP Central Election Committee will meet on Thursday, August 29, in New Delhi to discuss candidates for the Haryana Assembly elections. The meeting will be chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and National President JP Nadda. Key leaders like Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Organisation General Secretary BL Santosh, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, former Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, and State President Mohanlal Badoli will also attend.

During the meeting, the committee will brainstorm on 90 seats for the Haryana Assembly elections. According to sources, the names of the candidates are almost finalized, with new faces and winning candidates likely to get opportunities. Candidates with a clean image may also be approved.

Voting for the 90 seats will be held on October 1, and the results will be declared on October 4. Earlier, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini inaugurated the BJP election office in Rohtak and expressed confidence in BJP forming the government for the third consecutive term. He also criticized Congress for allying with the National Conference in Jammu and Kashmir.

The BJP will prepare a Sankalp document for the next five years to accelerate progress in Haryana. Earlier, a two-day brainstorming session was held in Gurugram to finalize potential candidates for all 90 assembly seats, which will be further discussed in the Central Election Committee meeting.
