New Delhi, India – Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his condolences on the passing of Narayan, also known as Bhulai Bhai, a senior member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and a notable figure in Indian politics and social service. In a heartfelt message, PM Modi highlighted Bhulai Bhai’s invaluable contributions to politics and public welfare, describing his death as an irreparable loss. He extended his sympathies to Bhulai Bhai’s family and admirers, saying, “Om Shanti!”

Union Home Minister Amit Shah also shared his sorrow, emphasizing Bhulai Bhai’s dedication to the nation and his role in inspiring youth towards cultural nationalism through the Jan Sangh and BJP. Shah recalled Bhulai Bhai’s enthusiasm for ideology and nationalism and offered his condolences to the family, hoping for peace for the departed soul.

Bhulai Bhai joined the Jan Sangh on Vijaydashmi in 1952 and worked alongside BJP founders Deen Dayal Upadhyay and Syama Prasad Mookerjee. He served as a two-time Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Jansangh in 1974 and 1977. During the second COVID-19 lockdown, PM Modi had called Bhulai Bhai, urging citizens to care for their elders.
