Udhampur (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], September 19: Pawan Khajuria, an independent candidate from Udhampur East, has released his manifesto for the upcoming Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections. Khajuria stated that he is committed to serving the people and is running as an independent candidate based on the people’s decision.

Khajuria said, “I am a common man, Pawan Khajuria, but I have dedicated myself to the people. Today, the election is being fought in the name of Pawan Khajuria in the Udhampur East Assembly. The election is being fought as an independent candidate, but this decision is of the people. I feel that in this East Assembly, the people are fighting the election. Every mother, sister, elder, and young friend is fighting the election who wants to fight against injustice.”

He highlighted that the manifesto addresses the suffering of various communities, including the Dalit community, OBC community, Muslim community, and government employees. “We have put all our demands on this manifesto and asked the government to pay attention to this and implement these ideas,” he added.

Khajuria mentioned that there are a total of 11 demands in the manifesto. “We have placed their 11 demands strongly before and have mentioned them all in the manifesto. Apart from this, there are many other things too, which we assure you will get fulfilled from time to time as per their convenience in this society,” he said.

Earlier, the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu and Kashmir Unit had suspended Pawan Khajuria and two others for contesting the assembly election against the official candidate of the BJP. The suspension order, based on the recommendation of the party’s Disciplinary Committee headed by Sunil Sethi, was issued by the State Working President of the Party. RS Pathania has been announced as the BJP candidate from the Udhampur East constituency for the polls.
