Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan expressed his congratulations to the BJP leadership for their performance in the Haryana and Jammu & Kashmir Assembly elections. He described the BJP’s third consecutive win in Haryana as “amazing.”

The BJP secured 48 out of 90 seats in Haryana, forming its third successive government, while Congress won 37 seats. In Jammu & Kashmir, the BJP won 29 seats in Jammu but did not win any in the Kashmir Valley. The National Conference-led alliance will form the government there with 49 seats.

Prime Minister Modi’s Remarks

Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Saini, congratulating him on the BJP’s historic victory. PM Modi attributed the success to policies benefiting various societal groups and expressed confidence in Haryana’s future role in India’s development.

Haryana CM Nayab Saini credited PM Modi’s leadership for the victory, highlighting the impact of his policies on the poor, farmers, youth, and women.
