Proposed Measures

Kalyan proposed the creation of a ‘Sanatana Dharma Protection Board’ at both national and state levels, with annual funding to support its activities. He also suggested implementing a Sanathana Dharma Certification to ensure the purity of materials used in temple offerings and prasadam.

Controversy Background

The controversy began when Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu alleged the use of adulterated ghee in Tirupati laddus, prasadam at the Sri Venkateswara Temple. The Supreme Court questioned these claims, noting a lack of conclusive evidence.
