Patient Riyazuddin Shot Dead in Delhi Hospital Due to Mistaken Identity

In a shocking incident, a patient named Riyazuddin was shot dead at Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital in Delhi on Sunday evening. The police received a call at 4:20 pm from ward No 24, reporting the shooting. Additional DCP Shahdara, Vishnu Sharma, confirmed the incident and stated that five empty bullet cases were found at the scene.

Riyazuddin’s wife revealed that her husband was mistakenly shot, as the shooters intended to kill another patient who was in danger. She mentioned that the wife of the intended target had warned her about the threat. The police are currently investigating the case and reviewing CCTV footage to identify the culprits.
