Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Plans Big Rally in Islamabad with 500 Workers

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has issued an advisory to its ticket holders and assembly members, directing them to bring at least 500 workers to a rally in Islamabad on September 8. Members from distant areas are expected to bring 150 workers. The event will take place in the Sangjani area of Islamabad.

According to the directive, members are to form convoys from their constituencies instead of gathering directly in Islamabad. Leaders from Rawalpindi, Murree, Hazara, Attock, Chakwal, and Jhelum are expected to bring additional workers.

PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar, Omar Ayub, and the Jalsa Committee have instructed attendees to reach the venue by 2 pm. The Islamabad district administration has changed the rally’s venue, relocating it to a site opposite the original location in Sangjani. Deputy Commissioner Irfan Nawaz issued a new NOC on Friday for the event.

PTI leader Aamir Mughal, along with senior party members, visited the new location and confirmed that the rally would proceed as scheduled. Mughal stated that the government’s actions showed their fear of PTI’s public influence and that no force could obstruct the party’s power show.

The district administration has granted permission for the rally with conditions that it will be allowed only from 4 pm to 7 pm. The rally should not disrupt public movement, and organizers must ensure the security of participants. Specific routes have been designated for attendees from different regions, including Motorway M1 for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa convoys and Motorway M2 for those from Punjab.
