Lahore, Pakistan – The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) organized a Connection Camp to address the lack of unity among the team and management. The camp, held on Monday, aimed to establish a clear and unified vision for the future of Pakistan cricket.

Star cricketers like Babar Azam, Shan Masood, Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Rizwan, Saim Ayub, Salman Ali Agha, Saud Shakeel, Shadab Khan, and Shaheen Shah Afridi attended the camp. White-ball head coach Gary Kirsten and red-ball head coach Jason Gillespie were also present.

Salman Naseer, the PCB’s chief operating officer, revealed that the discussions focused on identifying issues and seeking commitments to improve team performance and unity. He emphasized the need for better collaboration between the team and management.

“The session was about openly accepting and identifying issues and asking for a commitment from each other on how we can improve our performances and work together as a team,” Naseer said during a press conference. “Our unanimous view was that we need to resolve this going forward and identify how we do it.”

Naseer also mentioned that the talks included planning and workload management, aiming to enhance both player and management performances. He stressed the importance of having a clear vision and working together to achieve it.

Currently, Pakistan players are participating in the domestic One Day Cup competition. After its conclusion, Pakistan will play three Tests against England next month.
