The National Conference and Congress alliance has emerged victorious in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections. According to the Election Commission, the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) secured 42 seats, making it the largest party. The BJP followed with 29 seats, and Congress won 6 seats. Seven independent candidates also won, while Mehbooba Mufti’s PDP secured 3 seats, and Sajad Gani Lone’s JKPC won 1 seat.
