Oman’s Foreign Minister, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Albusaidi, is scheduled to visit Nepal from August 26-27, 2024. This visit is at the invitation of Nepal’s Foreign Minister, Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba.
Purpose of the Visit
During his visit, Sayyid Badr will engage in bilateral meetings with his Nepali counterpart. The discussions will focus on enhancing the ties between Nepal and Oman. Additionally, he will pay courtesy calls to the President and Prime Minister of Nepal.
Historical Relations
Nepal and Oman established diplomatic relations on January 21, 1977. The two countries have always maintained cordial and friendly relations based on mutual trust, respect, understanding, and cooperation.
