Om Birla Re-elected as Lok Sabha Speaker

Union Minister Rajnath Singh congratulated Om Birla on his re-election as the Speaker of the Lok Sabha. Singh praised Birla’s knowledge of constitutional matters and parliamentary procedures. He highlighted Birla’s efficient performance in the last term and expressed confidence in his leadership for the future.

Other BJP leaders, including Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, also extended their congratulations. Scindia noted Birla’s capable management of the House over the past five years and expressed confidence in his continued leadership.

After his re-election, Birla urged the newly formed 18th Lok Sabha to work towards fulfilling the aspirations of the people. He emphasized the responsibility of making collective efforts to meet public expectations and thanked the Election Commission for conducting fair and transparent elections.

Birla was elected as the Speaker after a motion moved by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and seconded by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, which was adopted by the House through a voice vote.
