Old Banquet Hall Collapses in Delhi’s Model Town, Injures Three

An old banquet hall in Mahendru Enclave, Delhi’s Model Town, collapsed, injuring three people who have been hospitalized. Assistant Regional Fire Officer CL Meena reported that the building, which had a tilted telephone tower on its roof, was in a dilapidated condition. The Delhi Fire Service, police, and NDRF are conducting a search operation to find any trapped individuals. Eyewitness Paras mentioned that the collapse occurred around 3 o’clock, and some repair work was ongoing at the rear of the building.
