Saudi Arabia’s deputy foreign minister, Waleed al-Khereiji, rejected any violation of state sovereignty. Gambia’s Foreign Minister, Mamadou Tangara, warned that Haniyeh’s killing could lead to regional conflict and called for durable peace and humanitarian aid.
