Odisha Governor’s Son Accused of Assaulting Official Baikuntha Pradhan
Baikuntha Pradhan, an Assistant Section Officer at Odisha’s Raj Bhavan, has accused Lalit Kumar, the son of Governor Raghubar Das, of assaulting him on July 7. Pradhan’s wife, Sayoj, met with the Governor, who assured her that justice would be served.
Pradhan claims that Lalit Kumar, along with six others, attacked him and threatened his life. The incident occurred because Lalit Kumar wanted a luxury car to pick him up during the President’s visit, but many vehicles were already on duty.
A complaint has been filed at the Sea Beach Police Station in Puri. Pradhan has written to the Governor, detailing the incident and requesting justice.
