Odisha Deputy CM Pravati Parida Launches ‘Subhadra Yojana’ Portal

On Monday, Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida launched the ‘Subhadra Yojana’ portal at the Lok Seva Bhavan in Bhubaneswar. This flagship scheme by the BJP government aims to empower over 1 crore women beneficiaries in Odisha.

Deputy CM Parida stated, “Beneficiaries willing to apply for the flagship scheme can now visit the official website of Subhadra and avail the benefits by sharing the necessary details. It will be launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 17.”

The scheme has a budget of Rs 10,000 crore and will provide Rs 50,000 to 1.5 crore women. Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi highlighted that the scheme will be launched on September 17, coinciding with Prime Minister Modi’s birthday.

Chief Minister Majhi emphasized, “No development can be achieved by ignoring women. The dream of every woman for financial independence and empowerment will be fulfilled with the implementation of the scheme.”

He also mentioned that the BJP government aims to fulfil the hopes and dreams of 4.5 crore people in Odisha, promoting ‘Odia Asmita’ through the enrichment of language, literature, culture, and heritage with a corpus fund of Rs 200 crore.
