Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi handed out appointment letters to 476 new government officers and employees at the Nijukti Mela in Bhubaneswar. These recruits will join seven different state departments.

Speaking at the event held at Lok Seva Bhavan, CM Mohan Majhi urged the new employees and officers to work with dedication and commitment. He stressed the importance of ensuring that various government schemes reach their intended beneficiaries.

The Chief Minister also announced the government’s plan to fill 1.5 lakh vacant posts over the next five years. He criticized the previous administration for leaving many positions unfilled and relying heavily on outsourcing. Additionally, he promised that 3.5 lakh new jobs would be created in industries.
