Since August 19, continuous rainfall and unprecedented floods have displaced over 72,000 people and claimed 31 lives in Tripura. The government has set up 492 relief camps to shelter the displaced and distributed clothing to about 300 people in the Amarpur and Karbook sub-divisions.
