On Saturday, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi visited several Durga Puja pandals in Cuttack district to offer prayers to Maa Durga on the occasion of Navami. He expressed gratitude to the puja committees and the people of Cuttack for the peaceful celebrations, highlighting the city’s historical significance and sense of brotherhood.

During his visit, Majhi announced plans to review the Smart City project for Cuttack, acknowledging the long-standing demands for its development. The city, along with Bhubaneswar, was alive with vibrant celebrations as people gathered at puja mandaps, adorned with flowers and lights, to participate in the spiritual festivities.

Earlier, on Friday, Majhi visited a Durga Puja pandal in Bhubaneswar on Ashtami, where he offered prayers and extended greetings to the people. He expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to serve as Chief Minister and prayed for happiness, peace, and prosperity for the people of Odisha, envisioning a prosperous future for the state.

Majhi encouraged everyone to pray for happiness and prosperity, sharing his joy from the visit and urging people to remain happy and hopeful.
